The people of Providence Christian Church are a community led by the Holy Spirit and we encourage everyone to use their gift and talents. Through nurturing faith, worship and community service we express our love for God, Neighbor and Self.
Providence Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) is located at 101 Providence Way, Nicholasville, Kentucky, behind the Brannon Crossing Shopping Center. A Providence there are many places where the faith in you can take flight and grow. Where is the Spirit leading you? Join us for worship on Sunday mornings at 10:45 a.m. All are welcome.
History of Providence Christian Church
The story of Providence Christian Church begins at historic Waveland in January 1817. Several men of the South Elkhorn Baptist Church (what is now South Elkhorn Christian Church) gathered in the home to discuss the idea of locating a church in the Providence area.
