- The people of Providence Christian Church are a community led by the
holy sprit and we encourage everyone to use their gifts and talents.
- Through nurturing faith, worship and community service we express our
love for God, neighbor, and self.

- There are four Sunday School classes which are the Adult class, the
Youth and Young adult class, the Young adult bible fellowship class and
the children’s worship and wonder class. These start at 9:30am and last
until 10:30 am. These are the classes that teach us about the Lord
before the service.

- The service starts at 10:45. It is a calm environment with a wide
variety of music from Bach to
Bluegrass it’s great. the sermon is a great lesson told from the
heart.

- Rev. Gerald Ray Johns Jr. is
our minister. He has been serving Providence as the Senior Minister for around 10 years. He’s very helpful
if or when anybody needs him. Jerry (as we call him) is a great man. He
is in charge of a the Wednesday night program and does the youth and
young adult Sunday School
Classes. As he’s told me many times he loves his job.

- There is a Nursery during worship. It is for children 2 years of age or younger. The room is
filled with toys, books and music. So the children have a place to play
during the service.

- The choir is a wonderful way to worship the lord. We have practices
every Wednesday night at 6:30. We also have a chimes choir which
practices Wednesday at 7:45
|

- C.W.F stands for the Christian
Women's Fellowship. There are three Groups in C.W.F, The Seekers,
Service, and Joy groups. All women at the church are invited to the
meetings and are encouraged to participate.

- The youth group is a group of 6th- 12th Grade
students that come together at 5:00-6:30 Sunday evening to learn about
the Church and Christianity. The youth is a great group of teens that
raise money so they can go on mission trips and do service work for a
week, to places that need help.
