Christian Education

Nursery- Nursery care is provided for children ages newborn- 3 years old during both the church school hour and the morning worship service.

Children, Worship and Wonder- Children ages3-5th grade will have the opportunity to encounter and worship God in a manner that will be meaningful to them. Children's Worship and Wonder will take place of our model of Children's Church. The children will enter into a sacred place and time where they can be with God, hear stories of God, talk to God and listen to God. They will participate in the ritual of worship, which corresponds to Providence's order of congregational worship. The children will enter into our faith stories in a way they have not experienced before.

Middle School Church School- The middle school class is taught by Marianne Overly at 9:30 until 10:30.

High School Church School- The high school class is taught by Heather Waltz at 9:30 until 10:30.

Adult Church School- We have two adult church school classes. Our older adults study the New International Version study guide. The younger adult church school provides an opportunity to explore contemporary issues of faith and values through Christian literature and traditional bible study.
Toddler Worship- Toddler worship is for children ages 3-6. It meets during Sunday Morning service which is at 10:45 until 12:00.
Christian's Children Fellowship (CCF)- On Wednesday evenings at 6:30 Heather Waltz teaches and CCF class to children from first to fifth grades.
Youth Group- Youth Group is for the middle and high school students to come and enjoy a time of worship and fun led by Heather Waltz. It takes place at 5:00-6:30 on Sunday evenings.
